The Brief

Cisco's global Meraki Go team needed a new website and content management system. The previous bespoke in-house CMS, built by another agency, had not met Cisco's needs, and the budget remaining for the rescue was tight.

We re-platformed the site to WordPress on WP Engine, efficiently repurposing the design files Cisco supplied rather than starting again. By managing the remaining budget strategically across phases, we carried the re-platforming through to a successful launch on a robust, user-friendly platform.

The new site gave Meraki Go, the smart network brand of Cisco Meraki, a global web presence to match its product. Meraki, a San Francisco based subsidiary of Cisco Systems, has specialised in cloud-managed IT since joining Cisco in December 2012, spanning wireless, switching, security, enterprise mobility management and security cameras, all managed from a central online platform.

Rescuing and re-platforming under budget pressure sharpened a pragmatism that still guides how Node modernises the systems it takes on.
