Everything in our catalogue is open source software built by upstream communities. Some of the developers in those communities take on implementation work: configuration, migrations, integrations, custom development. This network connects them with the organisations running their software on our platform.
Every badge in this directory is computed from merged contributions in the upstream repository, keyed to the developer's own GitHub or GitLab login. Nothing is self-claimed, and every badge shows when it was last verified.
How engagements work.
You describe the work from your dashboard. Network members who hold a verified badge for that application are invited to respond, and those who take it up ask their questions and quote a fixed scope with milestones and acceptance criteria. There is no bidding war: you are buying scarce expertise, not the lowest price.
The engagement is contracted through Node Resourcing Ltd. Funds are held per milestone, the work carries a 28 day defect warranty, and intellectual property in newly written work is assigned to you with open source components passed through under their own licences. Developer rates are their own; our service fee is shown separately, on both sides.

If you contribute to open source, membership gets you a monthly infrastructure credit on this platform (use it or lose it, no strings on your code), member pricing beyond it, an opt-in profile in this directory, and paid implementation work for the applications you actually help build. Sign in with GitHub or GitLab and verification runs automatically; you choose what your profile shows, field by field.
The directory
The network is newly open and the first memberships are being verified. If you contribute to any of the applications we host, or to established open source projects generally, join with your GitHub or GitLab account and your verified profile will appear here.
What we will not do
We never use the upstream projects' logos or imply their endorsement, our badges are our own designation, and we do not list anyone whose contributions we cannot verify. Rates belong to the developers. If you maintain a project we host and want to talk about any of this, our open source position page explains how to reach us.
Frequently asked questions
What does a verified contributor badge actually claim?
One thing only: that this developer's GitHub or GitLab account has merged contributions in the upstream repository of the named application, checked against public forge data and re-checked periodically. It is our own designation. It does not mean the upstream project endorses the developer, or us.
Are network members Node employees?
No. Members are independent developers or independent companies. They set their own rates and choose what appears on their profile. When you engage one through us, the work is contracted through Node Resourcing Ltd as a fixed scope statement of work with milestones, acceptance criteria and a defect warranty.
How do I join?
Sign in with your GitHub or GitLab account. Verification runs automatically against your merged contributions: contributors to the applications we host get per-app badges, and any developer with a solid record of merged work in established open source projects qualifies for membership. Edge cases go to a human review.
What do members get?
A monthly infrastructure credit on the node.uk platform to run the catalogue applications and use the AI gateway, member pricing beyond it, a listing in this directory shared on the product pages of the apps you contribute to, and paid implementation work when clients ask for help with those apps.
Why is the directory so small?
Because the bar is real: merged upstream work, verified. We would rather list ten developers whose contributions you can check than a thousand profiles you cannot.
